Carl Farrugia is a media graduate from Valletta, Malta. He graduated for his first degree in Communications from the University of Malta and got his Masters from University of Leicester. He is currently a Senior Manager with the Department of Information. He started with DOI an Information Officer in the Government Gazette section and then an Office Support Manager (Administration). He worked with the Employment and Training Corporation as Executive, and as a Journalist with MaltaRigthNow.com and RTK Radio. During his years at University he was involved in youth organisations such as the Moviment Kattoliku Studenti Universitarji (MKSU), the Maltese Youth Council (KNŻ) and Young Entrepreneurs and Leaders (YEL). He is a photographer whose specialty are the village feasts and other events. He is involved in subcommittees in the Għaqda tal-Pawlini (Pauline Society) Valletta and the Società Filarmonica Nazionale La Valette. His hobbies are photography, walking and sports mostly football.
